A Good Work Finished

A Good Work Finished

The Russia team finished its work at Camp Elama yesterday (Friday).  They have reported that even though they had made good progress they did not finish the large pavilion they had been working on and were somewhat dismayed at not completing it.  However, a team from Tuscaloosa, AL, will arrive at the camp virtually on the heels of our team.  While they have the people power to do the work, and certainly the willingness, they were not able to purchase many of the building supplies that they would need.  Therefore, they will be picking up where our team left off without missing a beat.  The pavilion will be finished and it will serve the purpose for which it is being built.  Fellow laborers, co-workers, in God's work.

On they way back to St. Petersburg, one of the team's vans broke down so all ten had to pile in the other van meant to hold seven.  They and their luggage were separated for a time but everything turned out fine.  They were to go to church Saturday evening at Street Cry, (and some later experienced their first taste of Russian blini), and Sunday will be a welcome sight-seeing day after a long week of hard work.

Please continue to pray for all of them as they are winding down their trip.  The return to American culture, not to mention the Georgia humidity, is often a shock.
