Our team arrived safely back at St. James about 7:30 p.m. this evening. All of them healthy and all of them very tired. From start to finish today they traveled for about 24 hours straight. But everyone was in good spirits...and ready for their own beds.
Pictures of the work that was done will be posted here and on our International Missions page in the coming days. Early looks at the pictures are indeed impressive. Even though the building of the pavilions was an important part of the trip, the biggest part was the building of the relationships that occurred. Believers from separate parts of the globe came together for one short week, and because of that unity there will very likely be eternal results. "The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it." (Psalm 24:1)
Thanks to everyone who prayed, contributed supplies or finances for the trip; to those who "gave up" spouses and family members for ten days to do this work; and to the members of the team for the sacrifices made in His name. May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ receive all the power, glory, and honor.
