Opportunities for Children/Families

Toys: If your family is cleaning out and ready to give away some toys, here are some items that would be a blessing to the Children’s Ministry: Legos, Lego Table, Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys.

Children’s Church Helpers: The students in our Route 54 class (4th and 5th graders) are eligible to help with Children’s Church at 11 o’clock. This is a great opportunity for children to serve the church and develop their leadership skills. In order to enhance this opportunity, I will be asking children who want to help to fill out a simple application form (which will be handed out in Sunday School or available if you e-mail me). This will encourage the children to be responsible and will also stress the importance of this role. Once applications are completed, children will be called during the week to be scheduled for the upcoming Sunday. At this time, they will be given a specific responsibility for that week’s lesson. I am excited about this opportunity to help our children identify their gifts and enable them to develop them in an age-appropriate manner.

Snacks for Route 54 class: Your family can bring in a fun breakfast treat for the Route 54 Sunday School class. Bring enough for 15 students.

Opportunities for Adults

  • Would you like to interact with a great group of kids each Sunday and increase their knowledge of God? Then we invite you to be one of our 1st grade Sunday Sunday School teachers this school year.
  • Can you hang out with your child's class (or another class) to give our teachers a vacation Sunday?  The other teacher will be there to lead the lesson.  You are there to assist them.  Let me know if you would like to be a substitute.
  • Do you like to tell stories? Then help us out by being a storyteller for our 1st - 3rd grade class one Sunday.  The story is provided for you and is a great way to interact with the kids.
  • Would you like to assist in Children's Church?
