The Bigger Vision, formerly called the Homeless Overflow Shelter, has been in operation for ten years.  We partner with other area ministries to provide a shelter for the homeless.  The shelter operates from November - April.  Mats and clean blankets are available for sleeping.  A light supper and breakfast are provided for up to 15 people.  The shelter is currently housed on North Avenue in Athens.  Volunteers are needed to prepare and serve the meals or to sleep overnight at the shelter.  Part of the ministry involves simply getting to know the clients we serve.

New facilities are needed for us to operate beginning in the Fall of '08.
