Christina became a member of St. James while attending UGA and considers it to be her home church. While attending the University, she began to feel a pull towards international ministry and went on several short term trips through the Wesley Foundation and other organizations. After spending 2 weeks in Montenegro in May 2009 as part of the UGA Wesley mission team, Christina felt that the Lord was saying that Montenegro was her window for that international ministry that she so desired, and that things would move quickly. Christina returned to Montenegro for a five weeks in July/August and committed to be a part of Stoneworks International and to serve the Brethren Assembly congregation in Podgorica, Montenegro.
Christina will be in Montenegro for 3 years working with the church's worship team and teen ministry, and will facilitate short term mission teams that come from the United States through Stoneworks International. She hopes to be a bridge between the US and the Brethren Assembly church such that short term teams who come to Montenegro will be able to effectively serve the local congregation and join in the work that the Lord is doing in Podgorica. She sincerely hopes that she will get to see God's Kingdom come in even greater ways in the country of Montenegro.
